NORTH LIBERTY

North Liberty residents will vote in (1) a school election, (2) a city election, and (3) (in some areas) an election for Kirkwood Community College trustee.

WHEN AND WHERE TO VOTE

To find your polling place and see a sample ballot, click here.

The polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 5. Early voting has already begun; you can vote early on weekdays between 7:45 am and 5:30 pm at the Johnson County Auditor’s Office, 913 South Dubuque Street, Iowa City, through November 4. There are also occasional satellite voting stations at the Iowa City Public Library, the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Coralville Public Library, and the North Liberty Community Library. (Click here for details.) You can also request an absentee ballot be mailed to you. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 4.

October 25 is the deadline for the ordinary voter registration process, but election-day voter registration is permitted. (Details here.)

SCHOOL ELECTION

Much of North Liberty is in the Iowa City Community School District, which also includes Coralville, Hills, Iowa City, and University Heights, as well as some unincorporated rural areas. Some parts of North Liberty are in the Clear Creek Amana school district, though.
